Game: Game is technically abandonware and unable to be bought new, used copies of base game can be found, but DLCs can only be found on 3rd party resellers sites, fuck them. I'm censoring link to other ways of obtaining the game, but I've heard that one certain fitness enthusiast has a good deal...
APU driver: APU_220520a-377788E-2206021014.zip
Sound driver: cs35l41_062022.zip
AIO VCRed installer: Visual-C-Runtimes-All-in-One-May-2024.zip
  1. Get Windows 10
  2. Get the specific APU and sound driver
  3. If you have abandonware version, setup with throwaway Xbox account
  4. Get Xbox app from Store
    start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9mv0b5hzvk9z
  5. Do the dance with the other Xbox app
    get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
    start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
  6. Log into Xbox app
  7. Get FH3
  8. Install, do not let Deck sleep
  9. If it asks during installation, let it install DirectX, DotNet. Otherwise you might have to hunt correct ones later
  10. If you have an abandonware version, do the crack/unlocker (3, 1, 2, 4, 5, I think it doesnt matter if you do all as admin)
  11. Install AIO VCRed
  12. You may need to manually run Gamebar and Xbox app before starting game from start menu?
  13. Pray it works
  14. Do not let it have microphone permission
Maybe you also need to give 4gig of RAM to VRAM? Heard something like that, needs further testing
You may or may not need to force some Xbox-related services to always run, also needs further testing
Does it run on Windows 11?
